crazed

what is with the continued chaos of this week. although it feels somewhat more settled with some oral caffeine!! just nuts and wild. the summer has definitely gotten off to a busy and exciting start!!!

am hoping the rest of the summer continues well. was not thrilled with the middle of today, but i turned it around at least. it felt nice to see all the moms this morning. and at least we didn't get chastised this time!! the book store was a bit of a mess. but we managed. again.

just a few

the birthday has arrived. with a decent amount of fanfare too!! phone calls and emails and wall posts....all very nice and endearing things. a nice amount of love and affection shared is a good thing i think.
and then the pink candle in the brownie with a card, a really sweet and kind touch that was greatly appreciated.
have decided to use "this" as "the" place. and leave out the names of the intended. and keep it unlinked and uncommented upon.
must find a new hiding place for the paper journal. the place it was living was wonderful. but now the items it was hid behind have been relocated. and the far away place is just not working. the thing is that i want to jot down little notes, for here or for writing ideas, but the journal isn't really the place for that either. so i need to drag out the tweety notebook again. it's in the car. perhaps they all need to live in my handbag.
am anxious to finish the current book and move on to a new one. am getting bored with it. don't think i will do the book club selection just yet, esp if we're not going to meet for that till august (or later). so maybe another newer book. or the e-mac book.

sometimes i want to write an inspiring secret for postsecret. but i think none of my secrets are amazing enough to share. usually i just blog them. here. or there. or there.

good day today. busy but mostly productive. am glad when i can get myself up and moving in the morning. though by the afternoon i am tired. still have so much to do though. always seem to be squeezing in lots of things and many little tasks. guess that is the way of it!!

sunshine and flowers

still writing in the paper journal. seems to be good for me. things are calmer. nicer. good book club, surprising. chose a decent book this time, maybe cos it was just four of us who were more or less friends. lovely day. should have gone out and about. but cannot be bothered. just sat and doing nothing.

life was feeling good. then all of a sudden. BAM!
have started writing more in the paper journal and reading. which feels good. i like putting things ON paper.
and i like adding books to the read list as well.
not sure what will happen for my bday. probably nothing as is the usual. but i want something to occur. this is why i am planning the movie out. but how to deal with that and everything else.
and why is everyone now coming to my house this week!!
